ELECTION INTEGRITY

A Cornerstone of Freedom

Election integrity is the main cornerstone of any Republic form of government, ensuring that every citizen's voice is heard and their vote is accurately represented. As a Missouri defender of election integrity, I fight for transparent, secure, and fair electoral processes to guarantee the “one man, one vote” principle enshrined in our United States Constitution for all Missourians.

My election for St. Louis County Executive in 2020 was “ground zero” for Missouri election corruption, including:

  • The Missouri General Assembly passed a law after candidate filing that allowed all Missouri voters to vote absentee, which created a five-fold increase in absentee voting percentage in St. Louis County to the previous St. Louis County Executive election held in 2018.
  • St. Louis County Board of Elections enacted a new procedure after candidate filing that permitted voters to vote at any of the hundreds of polling places in St. Louis County instead of voting at their assigned home polling place in the manner required by Missouri law.
  • St. Louis County Board of Elections executed a contract after the candidate filing with a nonprofit run by Facebook’s Mark Zuckerburg to accept millions of dollars to fund St. Louis County’s 2020 General election, with election operations reporting requirements mandated by Zuckerburg’s election nonprofit organization.
  • Substantial ballot harvesting occurred in St. Louis County during the 2020 general election, including people unknown to voters requesting assistance filling out their absentee ballot.
  • My Democrat opponent for St. Louis County Executive failed to file his personal financial disclosure form in the proper manner required by the St. Louis County election ordinance to be a candidate, and the County Counselor appointed by the same St. Louis County Executive refused to take candidate removal action or seek guidance from the Missouri courts regarding removal of my Democrat St. Louis County Executive opponent from the election ballot.

Fortunately, Missouri Governor Mike Parson signed Missouri House Bill 1978, which outlawed most of the aforementioned election corruption that occurred during my 2020 election for St. Louis County Executive. Missouri has accomplished further election integrity progress by outlawing electronic voting machines that do not create a paper ballot that election officials can hand count by January 2024.

While Missouri is in a much better place regarding election integrity than in 2020, serious issues must be addressed to provide free, fair, and secure elections to all Missourians. In Democrat-held regions in Missouri, there is no real enforcement mechanism for Missouri citizens to enforce election violations committed by Board of Elections officials or ballot harvesters.

Missouri courts generally won’t enforce election laws against violators, regardless of whether you file suit before or after the election. File a legal challenge to failed enforcement of election law before the election, and you are called an autocrat or a bully against election officials. Sue, after the media releases election results, you are labeled a cheater or sore loser. Further, Missouri statewide officials and judges are not likely to actively support any challenge to election corruption that occurred in an election that would affect their election results.

Without election integrity, the whole concept of our form of Republic governance is lost. Changing the rules during the middle of any election is as illegal as I have seen during any ballot election. The same election rule changes I witnessed during my St. Louis County Executive election occurred in other states without opposition from RINOs across America.

As your next Missouri Lt. Governor, I will aggressively go after ANY corrupt election official or ballot harvesting organization who purposefully violates any election voting law of Missouri.

There is no question that the 2024 election cycle will set the future of both Missouri and America. Democrats do not threaten the greatness of Missouri. Our true enemies are elected RINOs who claim to support our Patriot public policy and sell us down the river the moment they arrive in Jefferson City.

The only thing more powerful than campaign donations is the will of Missouri voters dedicated to reaching out to their neighbors, friends, and family on behalf of our Missouri First public policy agenda. Close statewide elections are won in Missouri by establishing campaign sign locations, phone banking, door-to-door voter engagement, and election-day poll workers.

Taking a few minutes to provide your contact information will save our campaign valuable resources and allow Paul Berry III’s campaign for Missouri Lt. Governor to contact you by the least expensive form of campaign communication: digital messaging.
